Is there a genuinely free AI interviewer?

Yes. Gaugely's free tier gives you 12 agentic AI screening interviews every month (about 120 minutes of interview time), one active job, 12 ready-made interview packs, ranked scorecards, and personalized candidate feedback — no credit card, no time limit. It's forever-free, not a trial.

How does pricing work — per interview?

No per-interview fees. You get a monthly pool of interview-time on a flat plan ($0, $49, or $149). We show it as a friendly count (e.g. ~100 interviews on Pro) but bill by minutes, so a longer interview simply uses a bit more of your pool. Your usage is always visible in your dashboard.

Do rejected candidates actually get feedback?

Yes — and it's our favourite feature. The worst part of job hunting is silence. When a recruiter closes a job, every other candidate who opted in gets honest, personalized, encouraging feedback — what they did well and exactly what to improve — drawn from their own scorecard. It's developmental guidance (skills only, never personal), so candidates leave better, not bitter.

Can you record interviews — video and screen?

Yes, optionally per job. Recruiters can turn on video interviews and even require screen-sharing for technical screens; the full session (voice + camera + screen) is recorded continuously and saved privately for review. It's disclosed to the candidate on the consent screen and off by default.

Can I run hiring from ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Gaugely ships an MCP server, so you can connect it to Claude or ChatGPT and run hiring in plain language — "create an interview from this JD", "show my top candidates", "send invites" — using a secure per-org API key.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes. Pro includes 3 seats and Scale includes 10 (Enterprise is unlimited), with roles (admin / recruiter / viewer). Invite teammates by email from Settings → Team.

Can you verify a candidate is really who they say?

Optionally, yes. Per job you can require identity verification (government ID + a liveness selfie via Didit) before the interview starts. It's consented, adds about a minute, and shows as a "Verified identity" badge on the scorecard.

How does billing and payment work?

Billing runs through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles global sales tax/VAT and accepts card payments worldwide. Plans are flat monthly USD with no per-interview fees; Enterprise can pay by purchase order or bank wire. Cancel anytime.

How is Gaugely different from HireVue?

What languages are supported?

Gaugely runs interviews in English today, with Urdu and other languages on the roadmap via the underlying voice models. Candidate links and reports are clear for both local and international hiring.

Is my candidate data safe?

Yes. Recordings, transcripts, and reports are stored securely and used only to generate your results — never sold or used to train public models. You can request deletion anytime; data is kept up to 12 months unless a candidate opts into the talent pool (and they can withdraw whenever they like).

Will AI screening introduce bias?

Gaugely asks every candidate the same questions and scores against the same rubric with quoted evidence, reducing the inconsistency of manual phone screens. A human recruiter reviews every result and makes the final decision — there is no automated rejection — which also keeps you compliant with EU/UK/Colorado AI-hiring rules.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans have no annual commitment — cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends. Annual plans bill upfront at get 2 months free. Our first 100 customers keep their signup price locked for 24 months.
